In 1992 NWC (Northwestern Motor Company) acquired the SWINGER brand line of utility size front-end articulated wheel loaders. The NMC’s SWINGER and VeradyneTM front-end articulated wheel loaders are ideal for surface sensitive applications such as tree trimming, landscaping and nurseries.

Founded in the 1930s, NWC started with the manufacture of road maintenance equipment series products. In 1939, the company designed and put into production a strong and reliable tractor, and later developed various mobile equipment products.

In 1994, NMC acquired the aviation ground support equipment line from Wollard Airport Equipment Company. In 2000, NWC merged with Wollard Airport Equipment Company into a single company called NWC-Wollard.
