More than 55 years ago, Lehigh self-lubricating cylinders and internal fluid storage tanks were conceived by an outstanding engineer named Charlie Keller. At about the same time, the Lehigh spool valve was developed for air applications as a modification of the early Lehigh air conditioning defrost valve design.

Since 1990, Lehigh has focused on special engineering applications including: stainless steel, nickel-plated or bronze cylinders, superchargers and air/oil tanks.
