FAI Excavator Hydraulic Parts

Italian FAI (Fabbrica Attrezzature Industriali) was founded on February 10, 1963 by Giovanni Bettanin. FAI manufactures a range of backhoe loaders, articulated backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, and tracked, wheeled and mini excavators, etc.

Some FAI models were sold in the UK by the Hymac/Brown Group in the 1980s before the Brown Group went bankrupt. In 1988, FAI began to manufacture Komatsu mini excavators under a license. Komatsu acquired FAI in September 1995, and FAI was renamed FKI FAI Komatsu SpA.

These machines were then sold as FAI Komatsu products until 1997 when the FAI name was dropped and all products were branded Komatsu. FAI changed its name to Komatsu Utility Europe in 2000.
