FIAT-ALLIS Excavator Hydraulic Parts

Founded in 1974, Fiat-Allis is a construction equipment company that manufactures excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, pipelayer tractors, motor graders and scrapers. The company was a joint venture between the Italian Fiat company and the American Allis-Chalmers company. It is now part of CNH Global, a subsidiary of the Fiat Group.

In October 1985, FIAT-ALLIS closed their remaining North American plant in Springfield, Illinois and moved all remaining production to their Italian and Brazilian plants.

In 1986, FIAT-ALLIS and Hitachi formed a joint venture called Fiat-Hitachi Excavators S.p.A. to manufacture excavators in Italy. The Fiat-Hitachi joint venture created the Fiat-Hitachi and FIAT-ALLIS construction machinery brands for different markets until Hitachi terminated the agreement in 2002.

After Fiat S.p.A. acquired Case Corporation in 1999 and formed CNH, they eventually retired the FIAT-ALLIS brand in their remaining markets within a few years and merged the company's assets with other companies in Case and New Holland.
