Founded in 1911, BRAY Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. was a pioneer in the manufacture of add-ons for early tractors and track tractors. Beginning in the early 1950s, BRAY developed and produced their original equipment such as a small range of several tractors and a large range of industrial loaders of various sizes.

The BRAY company was taken over in 1973 by another similar manufacturer called Matbro Limited. In the early 1990s, BRAY met some problems. By May 1991, the BRAY manufacturing name had ended and it soon left the bulldozer market.
